What is ABATE?

A Brotherhood Against Totalitarian Enactments

ABATE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the Freedom of the Road. Ensure your freedom by fighting anti-bike legislation and promoting fair motorcycle legislation. ABATE does not advocate that you ride without a helmet when the law is repealed, only that you have the right to decide.

The structure of ABATE is very basic: Members. Membership is open to anyone interested in promoting freedom of choice, whether you own or ride a motorcycle, or not. The wishes of the members are carried out by their elected board of directors in their local chapter, or through their representatives to the state organization.

Join Us!

The Mason County Chapter of ABATE meets the first Thursday of the month at the Little Creek Casino. Social hour starts at 6:00 in the Skookum Spirit Lounge and the meeting starts at 7:00. Meetings are usually held in the 2nd floor conference rooms. Everyone is welcome!

SEP 3-6 - TEDDY BEAR RUN.  Hosted by the East Pierce County Chapter of ABATE. Saturday Fun Run. Camping all weekend. Kid friendly. Live music, kid games, bike games, pig roast and much more. SEP 11 - 3RD ANNUAL CHARTER POKER RUN.  Sponsored by the Mason County Chapter of ABATE. All bikes welcome. Registration starts at 10AM, departure at 11AM, last bike out at Noon. SEP-18 - MEMBERSHIP MYSTERY RUN.  Sponsored by the North Kitsap Chapter of ABATE. Breakfast (biscuits & gravy) at 9:30, kickstands up at 11.
